Website Analytics
by Gary Shaff on Jan, 2 2016
More than 4,000 users visited siskiyouvelo.org since May 2015 when Spencer Grey, the Club’s Webmaster, setup the site on Google Analytics (a service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic). Roughly, thirty percent of all sessions (a site visit that includes one or more page views) were by people living in Medford followed by Ashland residents who accounted for just 15 percent of the site’s traffic.
The site continues to draw new visitors with a roughly even split between new and returning visitors. The volume of website traffic by month correlates with the cycling season with approximately 700+ visitors per month in the summer and less than 400 in the winter.
Spencer’s dedication to the development of the Club’s website, and ongoing support grows ever more significant with every click. Thank you Spencer!
