Velo Melos hit the roads
by Victoria Brown on May, 5 2019
The sun was shining and the temperature warm which meant a perfect day for a Club group ride. Nine Velo Melos, with Viki Brown as ride leader, explored the beautiful, quiet roads around Eagle Point while logging 25 miles of riding with 975 ft. of climbing. For some, it was a “getting back on the saddle” ride after some winter downtime and for others just a chance to ride with some friendly company. A break at Chamberlain Park gave us a chance to refill water bottles and have a friendly chat with a local police officer who stopped by on his rounds. We enjoyed a great view of Mt. McLoughlin on much of the ride. Join the fun and turn out for one of the many group rides going out every week. Thanks to Lan Roberts for the photo snapped from her seat on the back of the tandem behind her husband, Jeff Roberts, Velo Webmaster.
