OR66 Shoulder Paving
by Gary Shaff on Oct, 21 2015
OREGON 66 (Greensprings Highway) MP 1.99 – 4.74 shoulder paving is slated to begin on Monday October 26 and continue through Thursday, October 29. Expect delays – up to as much as 20 minutes in length and single lane traffic controlled by either flagger or pilot car, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
ODOT’s contractor will be paving the highways shoulders between Ashland city limits and Emigrant Lake Road with dense mix asphalt to match existing roadway surface. So when it’s complete, it will all be the same type of dense grade asphalt and a much smoother ride for bicyclists…. Shoulder striping will maintain an 11′ lane width throughout the project.
