Mountain Lion Sighting
by Gary Shaff on Oct, 24 2015
When – on 10/23/15
Where – on one of the Club’s “Featured Rides.” Can you guess which one?
I was thrilled. My only other sighting had been when I was probably sixteen and then I only saw a tail as it disappeared into the brush. This time I watched as it ran down the single-lane decomposed granite road. But no more time had passed for me to realize what it was and confirm what I was seeing – when it leaped off the road and into the forest. (Have you guessed which Featured Ride?)
