Local Bike Shops Impacted by Almeda Fire
by Harlan Bittner on Sep, 10 2020
We have learned that Flywheel in Talent was destroyed in the fire on Tuesday. Also, Alex Hayes, owner of Cycle Sports, lost his home. Cycle Sports employees have placed an envelope on their counters for anyone who would like to make a donation to Alex and his family.

A real loss! I spoke with Ian the day of the fire and asked if his shop was in danger....he said they had left the shop a few hours earlier and were up on Beeson watching the flames advance. I know he lives in Talent and wonder if any of you know if his house was saved? Also looking to know if anyone knows if Jerry Rhodes came through this nightmare OK or not.
Feel free to contact me via my email if you have any info.
Thanks,
Jeff Davis

Jeff - I know that Ian's house survived the fire.
