At a local area school, students in a health class were asked to raise safety awareness about a sport for which they had a passion. One student, Derrick Lopez, chose bicycle safety. As part of that project, Derrick asked regional cycling clubs, including Siskiyou Velo, to share bicycle safety information on their websites.
