At a local area school, students in a health class were asked to raise safety awareness about a sport for which they had a passion. One student, Derrick Lopez, chose bicycle safety. As part of that project, Derrick asked regional cycling clubs, including Siskiyou Velo, to share bicycle safety information on their websites. He sent us a link to a document that contains some valuable information, especially for beginning cyclists:
