Bike Parking Attendant Volunteers Needed
by Gary Shaff on Jul, 14 2016
The Jackson County Fair is rolling out a new program this year to encourage residents to ride their bikes to the Fair: July 20 – 24. As you know, the Fairgrounds is easily accessible by bike from the Bear Creek Greenway in Central Point. There will be secure, staffed bike parking, prizes and a raffle for riders. See details on the Fair Website.
The County is also searching for volunteers to work as bike valets every day of the Fair. To volunteer and select a shift, contact Jenna Stanke Marmon. Volunteers will receive a free pair of concert tickets and free admission for two.
