BBQ & Bike Wash
On Sunday, June 13th, the Siskiyou Velos are hosting the rescheduled Bike Wash at 264 Palm Ave., Ashland. The bike stands open starting at 2 p.m., where Club members will wash your bike, clean and lube your drive train, and polish the frame with BikeLust. All while you watch, beer (or wine, tea or soda) in hand, socializing with like-minded folk, kick back on the deck or play ping pong in the shade. What’s not to like? At 4:30 the grills are lighted for beef, chicken, shrimp or veggie kabobs, and even more socializing and music. Bring all your bikes, family and friends and all their bikes. You can ride in or drive, park on the street or in the AHS lot nearby. Email Gordy at gordy.gilmore@yahoo.com and let him know what kind of kabob you want. Or call him at 303-808-6816. A bike wash and BBQ cost $15; extra bike $5; meal only is $7. Pay at the door, proceeds go to more Club fun. Don’t miss this one. A clean bike is a happy bike!
