Ride of Silence scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Please join Siskiyou Velo for the 2017 Ride of Silence at 7:00 pm at Hawthorne Park in Medford on May 17. The ride will have a police escort and will be about 11 miles to Central Point and back to Medford. The ride is free and open to the public. Helmets are required and the ride pace will not exceed 11 mph. Our group will be joining hundreds of other rides around the world occurring at the same time.The purpose of the the ride is to honor and raise awareness of cyclists who have been injured or killed in bicycle/motor vehicle collisions and of the responsibility of everyone to use public roads safely and responsibly.
