Ride of Silence
by Gary Shaff on Apr, 19 2016
Save the date. Wednesday, May 18th at 7:00 p.m. is the annual Ride of Silence. The 11 mile loop begins and ends at Hawthorne Park in Medford. The ride is open to the general public. Helmets are required. The pace will be 12 MPH or less. No one will be dropped.
The Ride of Silence serves an international remembrance of those who have died or have been injured while cycling, and to raise awareness of cycling safety. Last year there were 357 Ride of Silence events in 20 countries on 7 continents. Forty-nine of the 50 US states hosted at least one ride. Please join us.
