6th Annual Eagle Point Cycling Challenge 2016
The Ride includes new routes for 2016 and a fun post-ride celebration. Come join the Cycling Challenge with a distance to suit every level of cyclist. All routes follow quiet country roads and the 100 K route climbs 3,700 feet to the base of Mt. McLoughlin (a spectacular peak in the Cascade Mountains) and then winds back down to the Rogue Valley.
WHERE: Start and finish at Harnish Wayside Park in the City of Eagle Point, Oregon: the Gateway to the Lakes including Crater Lake National Park. Harnish Wayside is located at the junction of HIghway 62 and South Royal Avenue in Eagle Point.
WHEN: June 11, 2016 with registration opening at 7:00 AM
START TIMES: 100 K ride starts at 7:30 AM
50 K Ride starts at 9:30 AM
30 K ride starts at 10:00 AM
10 K ride starts at 8:30 AM
ROUTES: 10 K ROUTE MAP
AID STATIONS: One on 30 K Route, one on 50 K Route and four on 100 K Route. Locations are noted on the route maps (see links on the left).
ROUTE SUPPORT: SAG Vehicle on ALL routes
POST RIDE CELEBRATION: Lunch catered by Jeffro’s Grill will include pulled pork or tri-tip sandwich, baked beans, chips, soda and a cookie. Book sale by Eagle Point Friends of Library will be available in the park. Check out the Native American History Celebration at the Eagle Point Museum at 202 N. Royal Av. in downtown Eagle Point after the ride from 11-5. Will feature native dancing and drumming and displays of artifacts and other historical information. No admission fee.

- 10 K Ride- Free. Register online, with printed form or at the registration desk. No lunch. Snacks at finish.
- 30 K Ride- $15 By June 1, 2016………… $20 AFTER June 1, 2016 the fee includes lunch
- 50 K Ride- $25 BY June 1, 2016…………$30 AFTER June 1, 2016 the fee includes lunch
- 100 K Ride- $35 BY June 1, 2016……… $40 AFTER June 1, 2016 the fee includes lunch
